  • Pursuant to this legal announcement, PRACTICUM Foundation, Institute of Applied Research in Health Sciences Education (hereinafter PRACTICUM), domiciled at Serrano Street 16, 5th, 28001 Madrid, Spain, advises the users of www.script.edu.es and www.script.md about its Pivacy Policy in order to safeguard the personal data users may provide when they log in so as to access the information included in these websites or to fill in on-line data forms to subscribe to any new newsletter/bulletin or e-mail listing.

    PRACTICUM reserves the right to modify the current policy to adapt it to the standing data protection legislation. In that case PRACTICUM will announce any change in their websites in good time and before its introduction.

    To access and use these websites or any of our services and products users will first agree to the terms and conditions included in the websites.

    This website is governed by the legislation applicable in Spain. Any individual, Spanish or foreigner, will abide by this legislation.

  • Treatment of personal data
  • In order to access the course contents in the website, the registration form must be filled in. To subscribe to newsletters, PRACTICUM requires users to fill in the corresponding form with their personal data.

    If the personal data forms are not duly filled in or if the privacy policy is not accepted, registration in the website or subscriptions to our newsletters will not be finalized.

    Pursuant to LOPD 15/1999, dated December 13th, it is herein reported , and you must agree, that any personal data required in our forms or that we may obtain via e-mail, as well as any data obtained through your participation or use of our contents, will be included in our automatic database. PRACTICUM Foundation is responsible for said database. This automated database, property of PRACTICUM, includes safety measures as set forth in the Safety Measures Code, in order to avoid loss of or changes in or non-authorized access to users´ data.
    Also, all data will be strictly confidential and treated according to the standing provisions as to personal data protection.

  • The data required are relevant and strictly necessary to the aim stated, and will never be used for a different purpose.

    Users must agree that personal data provided on registration or any other information provided through the subscription to any newsletter or via e-mail will be used to implement the e-learning course from the website, for the correct identification of users requiring support or personalized tutorials in our website or in any activity related to PRACTICUM for statistical analysis of the users registered, for administrative purposes, or to e-mail information, about news (activities/news, courses, programs, services and products) even after the course has finished related to the e-learning course with PRACTICUM or institutions in the training field.
  • Accuracy of the data provided

  • Users will guarantee the accuracy and precision of the personal data provided to PRACTICUM, and are responsible for advising PRACTICUM about any change of said personal data. Users will be responsible for any damages, either direct or indirect, done to PRACTICUM or third parties if false, inaccurate, incomplete data or third parties´ data are used to fill in the forms

    PRACTICUM will not be responsible for any information provided by the users, and reserves the right to exclude users who have provided false information from their database and services.

  • PRACTICUM has adopted all the technical and organizational measures to guarantee the safety of personal data and avoid any modification, non-authorized treatment of said data.

    The safety level is in agreement with the nature of the data provided. PRACTICUM agrees to keep professional secrecy as to the personal data.
  • Data Transfer
  • All the personal data, provided by the users are confidential, and will never be transferred or disclosed to third parties or institutions for commercial purposes without the user´s previous consent.

    Information related to the user´s academic performance during the –e-learning course will be transferred only to scientific institutions responsible for credit award for certification and/or continuous medical training.
